Saltman Quarterly is the University of California San Diego's premier undergraduate medical research publication. Worked as a designer for the two journals, Saltman Quarterly for formal research, and the smaller Under the Scope publications. Later promoted to Web Director.

Under the Scope
design editor
As a design editor, I worked with a team of design creators and other editors to create the layouts of our publications. Our team collaborated with members of the writing and photography department who provided us with the copy, images, and research that went into our publications. Over the course of one academic year we publish approximately 6 print journals (3 from Saltman Quarterly and 3 from Under the Scope).

As Web Director for Saltman Quarterly, UC San Diego’s undergraduate biology research publication, I was responsible for maintaining and evolving the magazine’s digital presence. I managed the site’s visual system and user experience; updating layouts, refining navigation, and designing new interface elements, all to keep the publication consistent, readable, and accessible for a broader audience beyond just print.
