The Impossible AI zine was a product of exploring the intriguing nature of artificial intelligence as a creative yet inherently ambiguous medium. Inspired by a compelling argument that compared AI-generated imagery to visual "static" or a limitless field of noisy, unpredictable patterns, I utilized Midjourney to curate images that embodied this tension between coherence and chaos. The project showcases how AI, while a powerful tool, impossible or surreal visuals that oscillate between meaningful representation and meaningless digital abstraction. This zine invites viewers to reconsider the boundaries between human intention and algorithmic spontaneity and unpredictability.
